Fishing Time

All fishing spots in DeBary are freshwater locations and require a Freshwater Fishing License from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation. 

A license is required to take or attempt to take native or nonnative freshwater fish

Resident Annual: $17
Resident Five-Year: $79
Non-Resident Annual: $47
Non-Resident 3-Day: $17
Non-Resident 7-Day: $30

Fishing licenses can be purchased online, at the Tax Collector Office, or by calling 888-FISH-FLORIDA (888-347-4356). Appointments are not required but are recommended for faster service at Volusia County Tax Collector offices.  

 

Many bait-and-tackle shops and sports retailers also sell licenses, for a small additional fee.
